How Storianna uses AI

Optional AI helps adults draft plans, summaries, ideas, and practice material. It can make mistakes and does not provide legal advice, certification, or authoritative assessments.

Separate, reversible consent

Personalized generation, transcription, and semantic retrieval use explicit consent classes. Manual product paths remain available when AI is disabled, unavailable, unsafe, or out of allowance.

Adults confirm changes

Smart Capture, next steps, report drafts, course descriptions, quizzes, and adaptations remain proposals until an authorized adult deliberately reviews and applies them.

Sources and provenance

Record-based features use selected family records as context and include source references where supported. A reference does not prove a statement is correct; review the source and the draft before use.

Deterministic records

App calculations summarize adult-entered records and settings. They do not award qualifications, certify attendance or learning, or determine legal compliance.

Minimized provider data

Only data required for the selected feature is sent to an approved adapter. Private notes are excluded by default, and content-free identifiers and error codes are used in operational logs.

Withdrawal, staleness, and deletion

Consent withdrawal stops new processing and invalidates affected retrieval data. Outputs retain provenance, become stale when sources change, and are included in export and deletion handling.
